A passionate educator, Francesca delivers risk and governance training with the Governance Institute of Australia and mentors professionals in the field. As Chair of the Governance Institute’s Risk and Technology Committee, she leads discussions on emerging risks and develops industry resources. Course Summary
This two-day course equips professionals with the skills to develop, implement, and manage effective Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) while building operational resilience and responding to crises. Participants will gain expertise in risk assessment, business impact analysis, continuity planning, and crisis management, including communication and recovery strategies. Day 1 focuses on foundational concepts, risk assessments, and developing robust continuity plans to ensure organizational resilience. Day 2 emphasizes practical implementation, crisis response techniques, and integrating continuity plans into daily operations. Participants will refine crisis communication skills and recovery strategies through hands-on exercises and simulations. By the course’s end, attendees will confidently apply business continuity principles, navigate crises, and safeguard their organization’s future.
